WWII Plane Crashes Due to Landing Gear Failure on D-Day Memorial

WWII plane Hurricane crashes due to landing gear failure on D-Day memorial. Pilot managed a slow speed beautiful tail wheel first landing which isn't easy in a Hurricane as the airflow to the elevator is blocked off by the main wing. Very slow controlled landing, lots of left rudder however with the collapsed gear it was only going to go one way. Unfortunate mechanical failure but the pilot was fine and the damage can be repaired.
