WS POV Police chasing car / Hendricks County, Indiana, USA<br /><br />Hendricks County authorities on Tuesday filed 18 charges against a Brazil man arrested in Plainfield after a chase that caused damage to two police cars.,The charges against Tommy Mundy Jr., 33, include possession of methamphetamine, conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine, reckless driving and possession of marijuana.,Mundy also was held on warrants from Vigo County charging him with possession of marijuana and possession of methamphetamine. He was held in the Hendricks County Jail in lieu of $100,000 bond.,"His truck was basically a rolling methamphetamine lab," said Deputy Prosecutor Stephanie LeMay-Luken.,Plainfield Police Capt. Larry Brinker said the chase began about 7 p.m. Tuesday near the Wal-Mart on U.S. 40. Store employees called police to report that a man bought three boxes of cold medicine that contains an ingredient used to manufacture methamphetamine.,When police attempted to stop the man, who was driving a green Chevrolet pickup truck, the vehicle sped east on U.S. 40. Police gave chase.,When the truck reached a construction area just inside Marion County, a police car slid off the road and sustained minor damage. The truck turned north on Girls School Road, then went back to U.S. 40 and turned west, police said.,Not far from the intersection of Raceway Road, the truck ran over a police device that flattened his tires. The truck continued driving on the front rims, police said.,Not far from Simmons Street in Plainfield, he stopped after hitting the rear of another police cruiser.,Neither car sustained major damage, Brinker said. There were no injuries.,Indiana State Police lab experts searched the car and found most of the ingredients needed to manufacture methamphetamine, Brinker said. Some of the drug already had been mixed up, he said.,A woman accompanying Mundy was released.
