This Granada Television documentary produced and directed by Julia Spark in 1988 looks at the Western and Communist points of view of the post-World War II events that led to a divided Germany and the construction of the Berlin Wall in August 1961. The 20 minute programme consists almost entirely of third party copyright B&W newsreel footage.
