Description

In his second film Antony Thomas looks at the success being achieved by American Scientists in the field of ageing research and the billions of dollars being poured into it. In a former military facility in Arkansas more than 350 scientists and technicians are studying ageing and dementia in a population of 21,000 rats and mice. In a Dallas laboratory biologist Mike West has discovered an enzyme called senstatin which immortalises the human skin, brain and cartilage cells and is confident that ageing research is going to deliver extended human life
