Description

As part of the extraction of Indigo, the naturally occurring blue dye found across the world in Indigo plants. The thick blue mass at the bottom of the tank is then passed through a muslin cloth. These are the final steps that lead to the indigo paste that is then set in frames and allowed to dry in the Indian sun. Finally being sliced into cakes of a compact hard nature to be used for natural dying of clothes, paints and pigments.
