OK, um, so can you state your name, age, and where you're from? You were recording that. My name's James. I'm 40 and I'm originally from Stevenage but now live in Santa Barbara, California. OK, can you tell me a little about what you do and what matters to you in life? Uh, I work in learning content for LinkedIn, um, which means I sit in front of a computer most of the day. I try to spend as much time as possible outside running and that's something that matters to me in life. Fantastic, um, so. When you think of culture today, is there a TV show, a piece of music, a book, or something that you're really enjoying at the moment that you would think positively about? Uh, I think probably podcasts are what the cultural thing that I'm really connecting with now, like having access to, to so many people in a way that is fairly new and just that access to content and also not looking at a screen when consuming that content is nice. Um, and then what piece of popular culture turns you off? Like what do you hate or what's still on your radar that you just don't like? Uh, probably TikTok cuz it's. unvetted and. Brainless. Tell us what you really think fantastic. OK, um, and then, um. Outside of work. Um, what are your, when you think about the future, what are your biggest concerns? My biggest concern is that people are becoming disconnected from each other and and reality, partly through that like kind of unvetted internet world. You know, if you, if you look at politics and things like that, like people talking online is very different to people talking in real life and it's the lines are starting to blur a little bit there and it seems to me quite dangerous that people are misinformed, you know, from sources on the internet like that aren't like things like the BBC. That's brilliant. Um, and then, um, when you imagine a world in 50 years from now, what does it look like? Describe it to me. It seems to me like it would be, it could be very lonely and just people looking at screens or something else, even like glasses or something where they're not really interacting with the world, they're just existing there. OK, um, and then. The final question is, what message or piece of advice would you want to give somebody living 50 years from now to hear from you today? Uh, go outside and touch grass. Brilliant, um."
