'Crocs Down Under' - With Steve Irwin. Clip 1
ID: ITV-01-1293
Format: SD
Location: Australia
Description

Steve Irwin attempts to capture a croc that has been attacking small boats. The Australian Saltwater Crocodile is the world's largest terrestrial carnivore. They grow up to six metres in length, weigh up to 1000 kilograms, and can live 100 years. In the past, many nuisance crocs have been shot, the luckier ones ending up in zoos or parks. In this film, Steve Irwin journeys to the far north of Australia to try something new. A big croc has been attacking small boats. Steve's convinced he can capture the croc, teach it a lesson it won't forget, and release it to the wild once more. As you'd expect with Steve Irwin around, Crocs Down Under is full of great action sequences. It's also a unique insight into the secret life of the crocodile.
