WS POV Police troopers arresting and shooting drunk driver / Portage County, Ohio, USA<br /><br />Guy Resists Arrest after failing sobriety tests and is chased and maced several times before eventually being shot by officers.,-Wayne Wright, age 33, of Ypsilanti, Michigan, was shot and killed after a traffic stop,-At approximately 8:30pm, Tpr. Rudy Zupanc stopped Wright for suspicion of DUI on the Turnpike near exit 13A in Portage County,-Tpr. Christopher Barnes stopped to backup tpr. Zupanc,-Shortly after Wright began field sobriety tests, he fled across the Turnpike and up an embankment,-The two troopers continued to verbally order the suspect to get out of the roadway and get down on the ground,-Suspect was maced, given additional verbal commands and struck with an ASP baton,-Wright managed to fight off atempts by the troopers to subdue him,-He fled back into the Turnpike where he attempted to stop a passing vehicle and shattered a window with a flashlight. He also struck Tpr. Zupanc aon the head with the flashlight,-Troopers fired several rounds, fatally wounding him
