Home movie of a tour around Bali, Singapore and Bangkok 1965
Description
Super 8mm home movie sequence filmed in Bali and Bangkok in 1965. Includes a welcoming ceremony for tourists complete with musicians. A visit to an ancient Hindu temple followed by traditional Barong dancers and a religious procession with worshippers carrying offerings on their heads. In Singapore, a visit to a Hindu temple and street scenes in the old city followed by municipal buildings and a performance by a military band. Onwards to Bangkok with its Grand Palace and temples ending with a performance by traditional Khon dancers and a boat tour of a floating market.
