Actor Stephen Graham discusses his film Orthodox 2015 in which he plays a bullied jewish man who takes up boxing as a way of self defence - against his faith this ends up alienating him from his community. Gangs of New York 2002 was an amazing experience particularly watching Daniel Day-Lewis who was a true craftsman. Graham compares working on the film to doing 3 years of drama school, he learnt so much. The director Martin Scorsese cast him from a self-taped audition. Before the meeting in person Graham did extensive character research that impressed the director. Scorsese has gone on to cast Graham in other projects since. This is England 2006 - Graham plays skinhead Combo, Graham discusses his character journey throughout the series and wanting to portray his anger and bitterness, growth and redemption. Graham reflects on his acting history and says it takes dedication and hard work to get to a level where he can work across the board from small indie films to big hollywood blockbusters.
