Native Brit Dominic Dare has been at the forefront of the international stock footage business for over 20 years. Most in the industry know him for his integral part in transforming London's International Television News archive (ITN) into an international behemoth, eventually relocating to the United States in the early 1990s where he created and led their entire North American outlet. Focusing primarily on network-level deals for stock footage, ITN Source gradually became a powerhouse in the clip content world with exclusive contracts for ITV clips, Reuters and Fox News, amongst others.
In 2012, Dominic came back to the footage industry and was hired by Zodiak Media to launch an archive outlet for the thousands of hours of their produced content. In 2015, he and his London partner, Sandra Coehlo, left Zodiak to form their own unique transcontinental clip agency -- LOLA Clips -- Sandra remaining in London, and Dominic staying in Los Angeles. LOLA Clips has been one of the few footage agencies to pioneer filming bespoke footage through drones and now LOLA is one of the key footage agencies in the business. In 2019 Dominic co-founded the hugely successful FootageFest which has become the fastest growing third party video content expo in the world and runs annually in Los Angeles.
Sandra Coelho boasts over 15 years of experience in footage sales and post-production, bringing a wealth of expertise to the industry. Beginning her journey at Pictor International as an advertising team manager, she collaborated closely with advertising agencies to license stills for campaigns. Transitioning to WireImage, now part of Getty, Sandra spearheaded the growth of their sales division in the TV and book publishing sectors, specializing in celebrity news stills. At ITN Source, she served as the Outbound Sales Manager, leading a team in selling TV news and program clips to broadcast and corporate markets worldwide.
Her passion for post-production led her to BBC Studios and Post, where she fostered relationships for archives to digitize their content using BBC's resources. Before founding LOLA Clips, Sandra played a pivotal role in establishing a footage sales division for Zodiak Media, building partnerships with major media companies and developing a web portal for content licensing. Now, with LOLA Clips, a boutique agency specializing in aerial drone footage, UGC bloopers, historical, and news content, Sandra guides clients from inception to delivery, providing expert assistance in licensing, research, and sales.
