Ramsay awaiting two great events, the birth of his twins and the annual publication of the Michelin awards. Ramsay, one of Britain's few elite two-star chefs, is still obsessed with getting his third Michelin star the ultimate accolade in the catering world. He is so obsessed with his goal that he doesn't even turn up for the birth of his twins on New Year's Eve. To make matters worse, Ramsay has created an up-and-coming rival in the shape of his former pupil Marcus Wareing - by all accounts a cert for his first star, while according to Gordon's guru Marco Pierre White rumours abound that Ramsay is going nowhere. Despite his New Year's resolution to chill out, the pressure gets to Ramsay, which means his kitchen staff are in for a tough time.
