10 young Survival School students are called on to abandon their technology and follow survival expert Bear Grylls on an epic adventure full to bursting with crucial survival lessons, the grossest of eats, speeding helicopters, huge snakes, poisonous spiders and some of the most eye-watering stunts ever attempted by children. It's an epic start for Bear Grylls' ten students in this episode. They battle ice cold water during a swim to a remote headland where they must fend for themselves overnight and tackle a terrifying forward-facing abseil. Tested to their limits the students start to bond and love is already in the air.
