It's a case that stretched from Washington on Wearside to Washington DC. Conman Raymond Scott has been found guilty of possessing a rare first edition volume of Shakespeare. The valuable work was taken from Durham University. Scott was acquitted of being behind the theft but he faces a lengthy prison sentence for his part in a twelve year saga.
