Russell Harty joins friends and family of pop singer Elton John on a privately chartered plane to Los Angeles to see Elton play live on stage at The Dodgers Stadium.Russell talks to Elton's proud mother Sheila Dwight on the flight and when they arrive in Los Angeles, Elton is waiting on the tarmac to greet them all in person. During the trip, Elton's guests visit Universal Studios while he unveils his very own star on Hollywood Boulevard's Walk of Fame.Russell talks to many of the people that make up Elton's entourage including co-songwriter Bernie Taupin, his manager John Reid and members of the crew. Elton's mother Sheila sheds a tear whilst singing along to 'Your Song' and reveals that she is always happy and proud once the concert is over, as she knows everything has gone well. Russell shares breakfast with Elton at his Los Angeles home, once owned by Greta Garbo and they discuss his swift rise to fame and the trappings of wealth, including his very own yacht called 'Madman. 'He reveals an ambition and desire to the best at what he does and believes anything is possible for those with the will to succeed. There is live music throughout the programme, with songs including 'Your Song,' 'Bennie and the Jets,' 'The Bitch is Back' with dancing from Tennis player Billie Jean King, 'Goodbye Yellow Brick Road' and 'Pinball Wizard.
