Rope Breaks at Ship Launch and Snaps (Close Call)
Description
Watch as the Arklow Bridge is launched at the Bodewes Shipyard in Hoogezand near Groningen. We would call this a close call as when the ship is launched the rope attached to the front tractor breaks resulting in the ship swaying off towards the onlookers. Luckily no-one was hurt as a result.
