Mustange is 5.0 Liter Engine and just takes off on the officer.,Suspect is tracked to a neighborhood and police set up stake outs as they close in on house the suspect drove to.,Suspect then flees and starts a short but harrowing pursuit where he bails out for a foot chase is caught,hree people were arrested Tuesday following a high-speed chase that damaged several vehicles and ended when the driver was subdued by a police dog after exiting his damaged car.,A 21-year-old West Valley City man, a 30-year-old Lehi woman and a second man who police have not been able to identify, were arrested and booked into the Utah County Jail for investigation of aggravated assault, possession of a controlled substance, resisting arrest, auto theft and a number of other alleged illegal acts.,Lehi Police Chief Chad Smith said the incident began when police stopped a speeding car in what should have been a routine traffic stop near 1200 West and 1500 North about 11 a.m. on Tuesday. As the officer approached, the car took off at high speed, made a U-turn, and disappeared into a Lehi neighborhood, where the driver apparently tried to hide the car in a garage.,Smith said officers surrounded the house and made telephone contact with people in the home, succeeding in helping a child and two women safely leave the residence.,When the a man tried to leave through a back window, he noticed the waiting officers and returned inside. He then opened the garage and fled in the car from the original chase.,Smith said the car nearly ran down two officers standing in the driveway, clipped a patrol car and tore out trees and a fence in nearby yards before heading into a dead ended subdivision at about 70 mph.,The fleeing car smashed into a parked car and the driver fled on foot.,Smith and Sgt. Jeff Swenson used a police dog from the American Fork Police Department to subdue and apprehend the man.,Smith said police later returned to the home and arrested the Lehi woman who owns the home along with another man who has yet to be identified.,"There are a lot of problems in that home," Smith said.,Police said the car involved in the chase and another car found in the garage were stolen vehicles. Police said methamphetamine was found on the arrested driver and that evidence from other thefts was found in the home.
