ATM kidnapping

WS POV Kidnapping<br /><br />The incident began on 10/14/2006 @ 2300 hours. The two victims, Westley Newton and Tabitha Champ, were sitting in her car, talking, when the three suspects approached. Two of the suspects produced handguns and ordered the victims into the back seat. They drove them to a secluded area of a local park, and made them start removing their clothes.,During this time, the victims informed the suspects that they could get them cash via ATM cards if they would just let them go. The suspects threw the man in the trunk and put the girl in the back seat, and then drove them to their bank ATMs in Troutman, NC. The suspects made each of the victims remove all their money from their accounts.,The suspects drove the victims around to various places between Statesville and Troutman, stopping at a convenience store, speaking to friends on the street, etc. During this time, both victims were inside the car (not in the trunk). The suspects then insisted on getting more money from the victims using threats. Tabitha Champ, fearing for her safety, told the suspects that she could get them more money from her Dad
