George Clooney discusses his movie The Ides of March 2011 a political film which he wrote, directed and starred in. He talks about the soundtrack being very retro and classic, he didn't want to use any contemporary songs. A clip the The Candidate 1977 is shown - Clooney talks about political issues and the fact that we're still tackling and highlighting the same old problems. Clooney discusses not wanting to take a break from the industry, he feels lucky to be given the opportunity to make the kind of films he wants to make as long as the budget is low. He makes sacrifices for this to happen, he's concerned one day this could be taken away from him. His secret is to do something besides acting, he is now directing and producing as much as possible. Good Night, and Good Luck 2005 his a film he is very proud of, 'there's a stillness to it that stands out, less is more.' Michael Clayton 2007 clip is shown. Clooney goes on to talk about his new project, The Monuments Men which is a film set in WW2 where a group soldiers are sent to Europe to retrieve the art stolen by the Nazi's. He goes on to talk about his love of directing, but he's not keen on directing himself. A clip of the Palm Spring awards is shown. The Descendants 2011 film clip is shown. Clooney talks about being the dominant presence in a film and that it happened a lot to Robert Redford, its not something he feels he has any control over, he can only serve the film in the best way he can.
