A teenager accused of killing his parents on Merseyside has appeared in court via video link this afternoon.

18-year-old Brian Blackwell was charged with murdering his 61 year old mother Jacqueline and father Brian, who was 72. Their badly decomposed bodies were discovered at their home in Melling last week. He's due back at Liverpool crown court in November.
