Description

As part of the extraction of Indigo, the naturally occurring blue dye found across the world in Indigo plants, the leaves are left in pots under weight to ferment for a couple of days. the liquid is then strained through muslin and the blue colored water and sediment is then aerated by hand using a technique of lifting handmade woven baskets to add air to the mixture. This sequence shows a farm laborers riding along on the back of a truck atop a huge stack of harvested indigo leaves and waving at camera as truck past along dirt road. Shot 23.98fps at 4K
