French actress Marion Cotillard discusses her film Two Days, One Night 2014 directed by the Dardenne brothers. She explains how happy and surprised she was when they called her to discuss the film, she goes on to talk about her love for all their films and their gritty realism. Cotillard now goes on to talk about French actresses in Hollywood and the ones that have led the way before her, adding that winning an Oscar was a big moment for French actresses as a whole. Inception 2010 was the ‘greatest movie so far in her career.’ Working alongside Leonardo DiCaprio in the setting of this mysterious universe that director Christopher Nolan had created. With Cotillard saying 'Her character was very special, evil but so much more - I loved it'. From this film director Christopher Nolan cast her in Batman - The Dark Knight Rises 2012 Cotillard talks about being thrilled and excited to be part of this famous superhero franchise. Cotillard discusses her admiration for Laurence Olivier and Peter Sellers growing up watching their films, saying she admired greatly their ability to completely transform into their characters, it’s something she's always aspired to do and loves the opportunity to jump from one world into another, and working with amazing directors. Macbeth 2015 is the final film discussed. Cotillard plays Lady Macbeth, and talks of this being her hardest job to date, particularly Shakespeare's language and Scotland in the winter.
